I'm Charlie, the founder of BFD Freedom of Choice, a lifestyle brand dedicated to celebrating our differences through unique streetwear.

My journey to start BFD comes from a place of deep personal experience and a passion for advocacy. Twenty-three years ago, I lost my fiancé to AIDS. During a time of immense struggle while caring for my dying father, I made the difficult choice to have an abortion. These experiences have shaped my commitment to promoting sexual health and wellness.

BFD is more than just a brand—it's a call to action. It’s about wearing our beliefs and standing in solidarity for the freedom of choice because, quite frankly, it's a BFD (big f-ing deal!).

Through BFD, we are launching our nonprofit to spearhead social causes. Our product line aims to reduce STDs and unplanned pregnancies, guided by marketing campaigns featuring unique characters. With each purchase, we give back to like-minded causes.
